This summer (2018) I am spending month at the University of Stavanger (UiS) in Norway, as a visiting researcher at the Greenhouse. I am incredibly grateful to Eric Dean Rasmussen (Assoc. Prof. of English at UiS and long-time Editor of ebr) for inviting me and am excited to be collaborating with him on projects that link the Environmental and Digital Humanities. In spite of the incredibly beautiful and distracting weather and scenery, plans are being made! Words are being written! Hikes are being taken! I’ve already gotten so much accomplished in the short time I’ve been here. It’s a luxury to have time devoted exclusively to writing, collaboration, and research.
