Part 1. 10 minutes–Creating Space.Â
Using Dr. Wicked (try it, don’t buy it) or WrittenKitten, set your timer for ten minutes, your word count for 200, and write a paragraph that describes one of the following: 1) your own expression of the metaphor (Lewitt), 2) the “second” level of the city (Ellison), 3) Quail’s “conapt” (Dick) 4) your vision of the nursery (Bradbury), or some living space within your own work/world.  The trick here is not to overthink it.  You just want to free associate and write for ten minutes.  Do not stop!
Part 2. Copy and paste your work and send it to yourself.
Part 3. Discussion about the effectiveness of these tools.
